Refund policy

**1. Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)**
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order and request a return within 14 days of receiving your items, without giving any reason. 

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision by emailing us at contact.vitaminshopnet@gmail.com within this 14-day window. Items sent back to us without a prior return request will not be accepted.

**2. Return Shipping Costs**
If you change your mind about a purchase, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item. 

We strongly recommend using a tracked or recorded delivery service and keeping your proof of postage. We cannot accept responsibility or issue refunds for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit.

**3. Condition of Items & Health Protection Exceptions**
To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. 

*Important Note for Supplements & Personal Care Goods:* Due to health protection and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of any sealed products (such as vitamins, supplements, or cosmetics) if the protective seal, wrap, or packaging has been opened, broken, or tampered with after delivery.

**4. Refunds**
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If approved, we will refund the full price of the product plus the cost of our standard outbound delivery option (if you paid for a premium/express delivery, only the standard delivery amount will be refunded). If you are returning only part of a larger order, the original shipping costs will not be refunded.

Refunds will be processed automatically to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods back (or receiving proof that you have sent them).

**5. Return Address**
After your return request is accepted, please send your product along with your receipt or proof of purchase to:

**6. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items**
Please inspect your order upon receipt. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately at contact.vitaminshopnet@gmail.com so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. In these instances, we will cover all return shipping costs.

**7. Non-Returnable Items**
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products (special orders or personalized items) and gift cards.
